SUMMER IS HERE EVERYONE!!

   Our youth organization, Youth Leadership Texas, is once again working to make a positive impact on our community. We have always been an organization that thrives on presenting solutions to existing problems, i.e. feeding the hungry, clothing those underprivileged, presenting fun events and educational events answering our nation's childhood obesity epidemic, providing toys at Christmas time to those children who might not have anything to open on Christmas morning, etc. 
   For the first time in our 14-year history, we are embarking upon uncharted waters - presenting a program with the goal of "preventing" the possibility of something happening in our schools. The recent event that occurred at Santa Fe High School has opened our eyes to the reality that what happened doesn't just "happen at other schools in cities in other states", IT HAS COME TO OUR OWN BACKYARD and we would like to present solutions by taking positive action rather than sitting back and simply "talk" about what may happen in the future or wait for someone to "do" something.
 

   If your time permits, help us make the next few months a reality. Lets do this for the kids and for our community.

NOTE: All students who volunteer to work our community service events will receive letters outlining their community service hours. These letters can be used for school requirements for graduation as well as with college applications.
